To be honest, the only reason I use www.hostgator.com for my hosting on my website is because someone recommended them to me when I was a newbie online, and I have had no complaints with them.
In fact, they are super user-friendly. I am by no means a tech guy, and it was easy for me to learn how to use the service. Also, their customer service is phenomenal. Every time I have called, they treated me with respect in a clear and friendly voice. The average wait time was maybe a minute and a half for each call.
Besides their customer service and reliability, Hostgator also has very cheap plans, starting at $4.95 a month, with unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwith! That’s peanuts.
Finally, Hostgator has a feature called “Fantastico Deluxe,” which basically installs your WordPress blog on your website with the click of a button. Yep, it’s literally that easy. If you use another hosting company with WordPress, you would have to FTP it manually. I’m sure I lost some people there with “FTP”, but the good news is, with Hostgator, you don’t have to worry about it! Hostgator and WordPress and an effective combination.
